What we need with the brief
A term paper is assessed against a specific module, and the papers that score well read as though they were written inside it. The more of that context you send, the closer the first draft lands.
- The assignment brief and the marking rubric
- Your module reading list, or the core texts you were set
- Lecture or seminar topics covered during the term
- The required citation style and any departmental formatting guide
- Any earlier feedback you have received on this module
- Whether specific theories, cases or authors must be used
- The word count and whether it includes references
